Our new granddaughter was baptized recently – a big day for our entire family and an even bigger one for Aria! And it called for a special card.

I made a tent card (which is simply a card in portrait position with the fold at the top). It starts with a Petal Pink card base 4-1/4 x 11 inches, scored at 5-1/2 inches for the fold. I took a piece of Gray Granite cardstock 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 inches and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder to give texture and interest. I added one of the Square Vellum Doilies for more visual interest.
For the cross and greeting, I used a retired stamp set called “All God’s Grace” which has beautiful sentiments and greetings for all types of sacraments. I stamped the cross on a scrap of Flirty Flamingo, fussy cut it out and popped it up with dimensionals.

Then I stamped the greeting on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, cut it out with the Rectangle Stitched Dies, and also popped it up with dimensionals. A bit of the beautiful Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and a few Elegant Faceted Gems finished it off.
The inside of the card was prettied up with the small blooms on the card front brought inside the card as well. The flower centers were colored with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write marker.

Hope you get some inspiration from this. Thank you for stopping by!

Have a blessed day!
Debbie
