Yep, one more Valentine’s Day project – a little treat box! Isn’t it cute?! I used the Sweet Little Boxes from the Sweet Talk Suite of products. Even though this suite centers on Valentine’s Day, it’s a very flexible suite and can be used for weddings, birthdays, and “show you care” cards.
I randomly stamped images from the Sweet Conversations stamp set in Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Rich Razzleberry inks. Then I put the box together; it’s very easy and takes only a minute.
I made a belly band 1 inch x 7 inches with the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. After fitting it to the box, I used a little Liquid Tombow Glue to keep it in place. I cut a length of the Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, wrapped it around the belly band, and put a few Mini Glue Dots to hold it in place. The ends of the ribbon were made into a bow. Then I stamped the “Hug Me” heart from the Sweet Conversations stamp set onto Flirty Flamingo cardstock and cut it out with the Sweet Hearts Dies. I cut out the tiny envelope with Highland Heather cardstock, using Mini Glue Dots to hold it together. I used another Mini Glue Dot to adhere the Conversation Heart to the envelope. The Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels ad the perfect touch of bling. Lastly, I filled the box with – what else ? – candy conversation hearts!
Sorry I have been out of touch lately via my blog. My husband and I are having our kitchen renovated, and that has taken up a lot of room in my brain. If you have gone through this type of experience, you’ll know what I mean. We have made progress and our kitchen is taking shape, but there is still more to do. Anyway, I know Valentine’s Day is behind us for another year, but I still want to share with you a few projects: a couple from crafty friends and one of my own, inspired by Angie Juda, another demonstrator.
Look at the plethora of Valentine cards here! These were all made by my good friend Terrie who has more creativity in her little toe than I do in my entire body. Amazing! Thanks, Terrie, for allowing me to share your Valentine goodness!

This is my Valentine’s Card made with the Sweet Talk Suite in the 2022 January – June Spring Mini Catalog. My layout inspiration came from Angie Juda but I used different colors and stamps for my card. (That’s what we call CASE-ing – Copy And Share Everything.) Here are the details:

Here is the third project for this suite. There is so much to this suite to inspire creativity: two stamp sets with accompanying dies sets, beautiful Designer Series Paper, Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon, and Brushed Brass Butterflies. Here’s something that’s different – a windmill and a field full of tulips!
I used a technique on this card for the sky. I used Pool Party ink and a blending brush to blend some of the ink for the color of the sky. The other elements on the card (windmill, fence, tree, clouds) are stamped and cut out with the dies.
This is the inside of the card.
Here are the details:
Coastal Cabana card base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches
Basic White focal layer: 5-1/4 x 4 inches. I used Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, coastal Cabana, and Highland Heather for the poppy field. I stamped the windmill with Early Espresso on Crumb Cake, and cut it out with the dies. I stamped the clouds with Pool Party on Basic White and die-cut them, too. The same goes for the tree (Shaded Spruce cardstock) and the Basic Black cardstock fence, then both were cut out with dies and glued down with Fine Tip Glue. I always use our Fine Tip Glue for intricate or skinny dies; when it dries, it’s not tacky.
Basic White inside layer: 5-1/4 x 4 inches. I stamped the border with Poppy Parade and used my Early Espresso and Shaded Spruce markers to color the tree image, then huffed on the stamp a few times, and applied it to the cardstock.
I have one more Flowering Fields Suite project for you in a day or two. Stay tuned 🙂
I hope your New Year 2022 is starting off on a good foot. I’m working on some swaps at the moment and for the next few days I would like to share some with you for some inspiration.

Almost Christmas and you may need a last-minute gift card holder. Here is one that’s pretty quick, depending how you decorate the focal image. I got the inspiration from Angie Juda’s blog, changing the cardstock, Designer Series Paper, stamp set, and and embellishments. But the basic card is the same.
Here are the details for my card holder:
Cutting Measurements:
Real Read card base: 3-1/2 x 10-3/4 inches, score at 3-1/4 and 7-1/2 inches
Real Red Belly Band: 1 x 8 inches
Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (or DSP of your choice): (cut 2) 3-1/4 x 3 inches. Check orientation of DSP.
Garden Green cardstock: scraps for die cutting larger scallop circle; diameter if 2-3/4 inches
Real Red cardstock: scraps for die cutting smaller scallop circle; diameter is 2-1/2 inches
Basic White cardstock: scraps for stamping tree and punching out
White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon: to make bow, approx. 15 inches
Other Accessories: Pine Tree punch, Perfectly Plaid stamp set, Holiday Rhinestone Jewels, Scalloped Circle Dies, mini glue dots, dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal adhesive, Tear ‘n’ Tape adhesive, Tombow Liquid Adhesive (green cap)
Belly Band off and card holder opening
Assembly:
Fold and burnish card base along scored lines.
Open card holder. To make pocket run Tear ‘n’ Tape along both sides of one outside section. Remove paper backing and fold flap up to form pocket.
On front of pocket adhere Designer Series Paper.
Fold upper flap down to close card. On card front adhere Designer Series Paper.
Take belly band and form around closed card, loose enough to allow band to be taken off but not so loosely that it could slip off. Use Tombow Liquid glue to glue ends together on front of card.
Use Tombow Liquid glue to adhere green and red scalloped circles
Use Garden Green to stamp Christmas Tree and punch out with Pine Tree punch. Attach 2 dimensionals to back of tree and adhere to Real Red circle.
Tie bow with white ribbon. Adhere to tree with mini glue dot. Adhere one Crushed Curry rhinestone to top of tree.
Adhere focal image to belly band only. Be sure not to get glue onto card holder or you won’t be able to open the card properly.
Decorate your envelope if desired.
I hope you enjoy this fun fold gift card holder! Have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas! I’ll be back in a few days with some sneak peeks from the new January-June Mini Catalog and FREE January-February Sale-a-bration items, so stop by!
