Hello to all who are Irish for a day! St. Patrick’s Day is actually on March 17th, so for once, I’m early with my card and greetings. I hope you like the card to go with the holiday!

I’m going to ‘fess up’ that I’ve used retired products on this card, mainly because I don’t always purchase the new St. Patrick’s Day stamp set every year. I don’t get much use out of it. But since I’m 25% Irish, I do want to celebrate the great Saint’s Day! Did you know that Saint Patrick is credited for “Christianizing” all of Ireland? Yessiree!
I’ll give you the details of this card, along with noting the retired products I’ve used. Mea culpa!
Cutting Measurements and directions: (measurements are in inches)
- Shaded Spruce cardstock: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score in landscape position at 4-1/4 and folded
- Layer 1 Gold Foil: 4-3/4 x 3-3/8
- Designer Series Paper (retired Sunny Days from Sale-a-bration): 4-1/4 x 3
- Inside Basic White layer for sentiments/notes: 5-1/4 x 4
- Stitched Rectangles Framelits (retired)
- Layering Ovals Framelits (retired)
- Shaded Spruce ink pad
- Distressed Gold and Shaded Spruce scraps to cut with Lucky Clover Punch and tiny flower punch (punches retired)
- Greeting and Sentiments from Lucky Clover stamp set (retired)

I took the Shaded Spruce ink and inked the four-leaf clover. Then I stamped off twice, then stamped onto the Basic White cardstock. Next I inked the sentiment again and stamped it full strength. Next I inked the sentiment with Shaded Spruce and stamped it full-strength. I know I shouldn’t be using retired products, but I hope you like it! Besides, you may be like me – a frugal stamper!
Have a Blessed St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th!!
Debbie
