Hi, crafty friends!
This evening some of the ladies and I made a really fun fold card. It was a little challenging for us all due to the fact that the “technology” wasn’t working like it usually does. (Anyone else out there have issues like that?!) Anyway, we made it through and their cards look amaaaazing!

We made a type of Z Fold Card tonight, and each of us used whatever we had in our stash. Mystery Card Monday is usually held the last Monday of the month in the evening. I use Zoom so you would need to have an invitation to attend. If you would like to join us for a Mystery Card, just comment below and I’ll let you know when the next one comes up!

Here you can get a good look from above the card. You can see how it’s made. Below are the steps to make this Z-Fold Card.
CUTTING MEASUREMENTS:
- Cardstock: 4-1/4 x 11 (color that coordinates with your Designer Series Paper, score on long edge at 2-1/8, 4-1/4, and 5-1/2 inches. Use bone folder to make sharp folds.
- Same color cardstock as above: 4-1/4 x 3-1/4 inches
- Designer Series Paper (use 3 different coordinating patterns, watching orientation of the patterns): 1(W) x 4(H), 2(W) x 4(H), and 3(W) x 4(H) inches. This last piece will be the front focal layer.
- [Optional: piece of Designer Series Paper, different pattern: 2(W) x 4(H)]
USEFUL TOOLS FOR THIS CARD: Scoring tool, Bone Folder, Adhesive, Dimensionals, stamps for greeting, scrap cardstock, punch or die to cut out greeting, envelope, Sunny Day Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration), ribbon/embellishments if desired

- Score card base. Fold card base on scored lines. Use bone folder.
- Make book binder fold and glue together.
- Adhere 1 x 4 inch strip of Designer Series Paper to book binder fold.
- Adhere 2 x 4 Basic White and Designer Series Paper to inside of card.
- Adhere 3 x 4 inch Designer Series Paper to 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 inch piece.
- Put glue on 2 x 4-1/2 front section; then add focal layer to card front.
- Create your focal image and adhere to card front.
- Embellish card and envelope as desired.
I hope you’ll give it a try!
Blessings, Debbie
